BOTA Roadshow: This involved promoting vocational education. Teaching the community and students in schools about the need to look at Vocational Education as an alternative career choice. We scripted and trained the crew to perform the play on: Tiro ya diatla." Encouraging people to only enroll in Bota accredited colleges only.
Mascom Roadshow: We performed a roadshow for Mascom (Cellular Company) all over Botswana. The show involved introducing to the Mascom Clients new services then like Nzamele, Fun Package, and Lotto etc. We scripted, rehearsed and performed a play, dances with drama trails and running mini competitions at the roadshow.
Orange roadshow: The show involved selling of Orange starter kits and airtime. Like the Mascom roadshow we taught Orange clients about services orange offered like col me back, masika le ditsala, chat etc.
NBL ROADSHOW: For two years consecutively we performed roadshows for National Brands Limited. This involved promotion of Trinco tea. We performed dances with drama trails, prepared the tea and gave audience a chance to sample it and also ran a competition to increase sales of the tea.
Maitisong Festival
We coordinated the Maitisong Festival outdoor shows over the past 11 years. Maitisong Festival is the biggest annual performing arts festival in Botswana. The show involved programming groups to perform, running show, crowd control, getting all necessary permits etc. Maitisong Festival is the biggest performing arts festival in Botswana and its outdoor shows attracts an audience of more than 20 000 people in two weekends.
Department of Public Health
Bliss Female Condom: Through an advertising agency Elements we were engaged to do a mini roadshow launching the Bliss Female condom. We performed a play in Maun, Ghanzi, Francis town, Gaborone and Mahalapye promoting the new female condom. We also created a signature song for the roadshow which was very much liked by the then Minister of Health Professor Sheila D Tlou!
IVF ROADSHOW: This is a roadshow that was held in different SADC countries being Botswana, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Namibia. It was a video roadshow and it involved showing Steps HIV/AIDS videos and also having a testimony from a young lady living with HIV and performance of a short play on Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV. We developed a play on PMTCT from a man's perspective called
"Monna Tia," did condom demonstrations, showed HIV aids videos and issuing questionnaires on behalf of our client We completed this roadshow having covered more than fifty villages' all over Botswana including Tsabong, Ghanzi, Kang, Hukuntsi, and Charles Hill. Masunga, Bobonong, Pike etc. In total we performed one hundred and thirty times (130 shows) all over Botswana.
Botswana Stock Exchange: We performed a roadshow for Botswana Stock exchange encouraging Batswana to take part in the Share and Bonds business. The show was also meant to break the Stigma that the Shares business belongs to the rich and the elite. We performed a play, dances with drama trails and a signature song for them.
PSI Roadshow: We are currently doing a roadshow on PSI's Choose Life Magazine encouraging the youth to read the magazine. The activity involved creating a signature song for them, dances with drama trails and a play that promotes the magazine.
Consumer Affairs Roadshow: We developed a roadshow for Department of Consumer Affairs teaching consumers about their rights and responsibilities especially during the festive season. We did plays on Hire purchase and Micro lending and created an afro pop signature song for the department. We further developed a Mascot specific to the campaign named "Modupi
Department of Public Health
Youth and Alcohol Abuse Roadshow:We have for the past two years performed this roadshow for the Ministry of Health. The main objective of the show was to discourage young people from alcohol consumption by looking at dangers of alcohol and finding possible solutions to alcohol abuse matters. The show like all other roadshows involved developing a play based on youth and alcohol abuse and also recording mixing and mastering a kwaito song on the theme.
Barclays Roadshow: We did roadshows for Barclays in Shakawe, Gumare, Tutume, Masunga and Moshopa. Barclays has just opened what it call express Branches and it wanted to raise awareness about them and also teach people about its new products like Isago Savings and Bank account, Barclay card and Barclay loan. The purpose of the roadshow was also to acquire more customers and take Barclays Bank to the people. We thus developed a play and dances with drama trails specific to the Barclays course.
BTA Roadshow: We recently completed roadshows in the North and South of Botswana doing more than 50 performances teaching the general public about Botswana Telecommunications Authority (BTA). What is does and what the rights of Telecommunications users are.
